Angelica Historic District

Fans of the hit musical Hamilton will recognize Angelica Schuyler Church, Alexander Hamilton’s famous sister-in-law and the namesake of this charming village. Angelica preserves its historic character, with many century-old buildings in its historic district listed on state and federal registers. Known as the “Town Where History Lives,” it’s also a destination for antique enthusiasts, drawing shoppers from across the country.

Letchworth State Park

About 25 minutes north of Corbeaux is Letchworth State Park. The “Grand Canyon of the East” features the Genesee River flowing through a gorge with waterfalls and 600-foot cliffs. With 66 miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and winter sports, the park also offers nature programs, guided tours, whitewater rafting, kayaking, swimming, and hot-air ballooning.

Griffis Sculpture Park

Since the 1960s, the steel sculptures of Larry Griffis, Jr. and international artists have graced Griffis Sculpture Park in the Enchanted Mountains of Western New York. Spanning 450 acres, it’s one of the largest and oldest sculpture parks in the U.S., featuring over 250 sculptures set along scenic hiking trails that harmonize art with nature.
